I wish it was Sunday, because that's my fun day, my I-don't-have-to-run day. It's just another manic Monday.
Greetings from Bloomington, a.k.a. Atlantis, because with the flash floods this morning, we're practically underwater. It made the power at home flicker, but of course, the power at work is still going strong.
We have to do this again? Didn't we just all leave here? Oh well. It is a beautiful morning. Sunny and about 75*. After about three weeks of some kind of rain every day, we should get a healthly dose of sun. And I need it. There will be some clouds and maybe even a stray shower, but I'll take it. Now, what do I want to do with my work day?

I'm usually ok with Monday's, but today, I'm just not feeling the love... It's already over 80* and we're in for another heat advisory -- 96* (heat index 107).
Is it just me, or are we tuneless?

Its supposed to be 94 here today too. Looks like we're going from 60 degree days to 90 degree days and will just be skipping the 70's and 80's this season.
Well now... my tomorrow just got a step easier. For now my scheduled 9AM field integration test is a no go... for like the 8th time. Maybe this will change again at 4... who knows?

I'm such a pansy. I didn't want to go out in the heat so I made Mema join me for a brisk walk in a small circle in a building for 30 minutes. Poor Mema. I bet she hates me being a big ol' pansy.
You kidding? It was about 68* in the Winter Garden... no hills, no bugs, no ducking tree branches, no having to walk single file to avoid other oncoming walkers, no 106* "comfort index", no ozone alert in there either. I didn't even break a sweat. It was good!
