This is sort of a "backwards" three day weekend. Having Monday off is more fun. Sun is shinin', my to do list is humungoid. Gotta get to it! JD, how is the Fest going? English Beat and Elvis on Sunday. Maybe we'll see ya there.

I slept in, and found out I didn't have to go to the BMV after all. I renewed my (over a month expired) registration online.
I'll probably head out to do some shopping today. We need rugs for our hallway, I need to return a rug that didn't fit, and we need a new mattress pad. I also need some shoes for our nephew's wedding in a few weeks.
The reunion is tonight. We had 76 in our graduating class of '84. It will be fun to see how many people make it back or come. One of my friends lives right here in town and he said he's not going . . . said he just don't care to see most of those people again.
There is a chance of storms today with a high of 77. It will be a humid day, but temps will be good.
Happy Friday all! I've had a mellow day. Just got back from a little unexpected grocery shopping... got invited to my older son's house for a BBQ tomorrow so I had to come up with some grub to take along. Now if I can just remember that last recipe I used to make country ribs... they were fan-freakin-tastic, but the website it was on now seems to be defunct.

Hi all! I spent a good part of the day outside; my husband decided today was the day he was going to tackle breaking up our cement front steps. Lucky me.....I was elected to cart chunks of cement and throw them in the back of his truck. And just as I suspected, we have broken cement blocks in the foundation. Bigger project = more expensive to fix. Since tomorrow is a holiday, I might stray from my norm and just get blotto-ed; I'm so tired of money that I don't have going out!!
