We've got a little thunder moving in and it looks like we'll get a bit of rain.
The forecast for this week looks amazing . . . low 70's for a few days. I can't believe its the last week of July with temps like that. I'm certainly not complaining!
Our temperatures are finally starting to creep in July temps. The humidity has been up the last week or so. And now we are getting close to 90* every day. Last night's storms came through and cooled things off nicely too.

Good morning all! I decided to cut my vacation short and came back home last night. My girls and I went to our cabin for a few days then left from there to go to the U.P. and got some camping in, but we had crappy weather.....it rained every day that we were gone. So yesterday we decided to pack it up and come home.....a six hour drive home turned into 8 hours......it was raining so hard in certain places that I had to pull over on the side of the expressway several times because I couldn't see the road. Anyway, we had a good time but wish the weather would've been better.

I am taking the last week of August off. It'll be good for me. I need to be out of here for an extended period of time. I think there are two or three days scheduled for camping. I do't remember the last time I actually went camping. Other than that, it will probably just be things around the house. Like possibly a thorough house cleaning. I noticed the dust on the baseboards last week and it is bad. I need to make a decision on the backsplash I want in the kitchen. That way I may be able to do that as well while I am home.

Yeah we did Web. Played cards and board games, put the rain gear on and went for walks, and spent time talking and acting goofy. It was fun to hang with my girls.

We've been camping since last Thursday eve. Rain on and off. Funny, it seemed to be in sync with what we were doing. First thing we did after setting up the tent was make a good (great) kitchen area under probably the best tarp set up I've ever done!
Kyaking, Biking, Running, Hiking and canoing. We stayed overnight in a place designed by Frank Lloyd Wright on Sunday eve. (seth peterson cottage, if you want to google) We took the backroads there and back. Wonderful WI.
