I know you've got your big trip coming up later in the year- it'd be awesome if you could blog the trip here on the forum, or at least give us all the goooood details when you return!

Im not planning on doing much on my vacation, just relaxing by the pool and on the beach but if anything else should happen I will be sure to let you guys know all about it!

Have a geat trip.  I'll be listening for the call ins.  I hope you get to take in as much music as possible.  It seems every bar has some little band playing it's like Jazz to the nth degree.


I'm sure you'll check out Preservation Hall.  I was expecting something fantastic but it's just a little hole in the wall.  But the more I thought about it that's what it should be!

Yes we are planning on hitting preservation hall on Wednesday night- either before a couple of hurricanes at pat obrien's. The PH band is in town, so that'll be cool!

Yes Sparky, I'm taking my lady friend Christina aka "Girl" (don't think I've ever called her Christina...). It's her 30th birthday on Wednesday so this trip is partly to celebrate that as well.


LOL it was funny on mother's day. We went with her folks out to brunch and she was in a "awww I am turning 30 mood. Yea....there was very little pity there. You can't whine to people older than yourself that you are "getting old". Very very little pity!!
