By now news of Kerry Livgren suffering a stroke overnight has reached the masses. Jake Livgren (nephew to Kerry and also his band's vocalist) sent me this update earlier today:
"I just wanted to get the word out to his friends and fans that he had a stroke last night and underwent surgery to remove blot clots in his brain today. He is stable and recovering in the hospital as of now, but he's still in need of prayers from everyone. Thank you in advance for your prayers and support!!"
Updates can be found at: www.cjonline.com (which is the Topeka Capital/Journal newspaper's website for more details).

Hey LS, I had not heard this. He's one of the driving forces behind Kansas and has some neat solo stuff. I am sorry to hear this and hope he recovers. It sounds pretty serious.
Just found out about it yesterday, and it seemed like it hadn't been covered much, which is why I posted it here for you guys.
