That's right, I've created an eighth day of the week. I think it's overdue don't you? I mean we've been stuck with only seven days since what, CREATION!?! Enough already. Time to make three day weekends the norm!
I spent a large part of last night and this morning working on the sound card. It just doesn't work. So now I'm onto a whole other path.
The way I see it I have two possibilities left. First I'm gonna try setting the laptop up to broadcast and see if that works any better.
Actually, now that I started typing it, I realize I only have that one possibility left. Damn!
Another lovely day here in KC. Not sunny, but not hot and not raining. I've been cleaning on the house... cleaned the carpets downstairs and starting on the kitchen and dining room floors, but have discovered the need to go to the store to pick up some more cleaning supplies.
Right at the moment though, I'm getting myself together to go to Irish Fest tonight with my friend Marissa. There is a good band playing tonight... The Elders. Should be a great time.

Just lurking around while I update the virus protection (via stinkin' slow dialup) at home.
This weekend has not turned out as productive as I would have liked. I've had a headache that I just can't seem to shake.
I did manage to make some homemade tomato soup. Boy was that a time consuming pain! The family loved it, but I told them it was NOT something they could request.
Hope everyone is having a nice weekend...

We went to the drag races today. Well, we went to the sit-around-in-the-rain-then-once-it-stopped-raining-sit-around-waiting-for-them-to-dry-the-track, but eventually we got to see some good racing. I hope the weather holds out tomorrow.
OMG! Had a great time at KC Irish Fest 2009! Listened to a fabulous Irish band called The Elders. Check them out sometime! I love their music a little more each time I hear them. Also got me a kick @$$ new hoodie... its pink with "Ireland" embroidered across the front and a shamrock on the hood. LOVE IT!!
Oddly enough, I also ran into ex-sister-in-law #2 and her current boyfriend. It was nice to see her. I gave her a hug, a kiss on the cheek, and told her the smartest thing she ever did was dump my brother.
