Argh, I'm crabby today.

My stupid ankle still hurts and I'm pretty sure I'm gonna miss some significant time from work. This is when I really wish I had a desk job that I could hobble to. Unfortunately my job requires me to be on my feet and moving all night, so until I can walk at a decent pace there's no way I can go back to work.

It felt a little better when I first woke up this morning, walking was a bit easier. But it quickly went back to being painful. Later today or tomorrow I'll go into a clinic and have it looked at, but I know they're just gonna say to stay off of it and let it rest.

I mean, I really doubt it's a fracture of any sort because I feel no pain putting all my weight on it. The only pain is in the motion of walking, sitting, etc. I think it's muscles that just need to heal.

I'm already sick of being stuck in the house and it's only been a day and a half. Feels like a week.

And so this day begins... I'm hoping it gets better from here. I've been up for a little more than an hour and its not good so far. Had to go get some gas and money for the annoying roomie because he failed to mention ANY of that last night as he was out with his friends (YAY)... pulling out from the gas pump, I see a car start backing out of a parking space in front of me. I stop, figuring that just any second this woman will look behind her and see the oversized truck... NOPE. Rolls right back into my bumper.

So, she pulls back in her space, I drive over to a space and get out to look at my truck. I have a new scuff on my bumper. I walk over to her car... can't see anything obvious. She informs me she is a high school student who's piece of junk (her words) gets hit at school all the time.

I think I get the reason for this... wondering why it escapes her.

At least we agreed to call it even and go on about our days.

Morning. Guess I am doing okay compared to a few of you. Just another day. Have to do this, don't forget to do that, etc.

Could have fooled me about it still being summer. After I mowed the lawn Tuesday night, I sat out back for a while. And just took in nature. Then I got bummed because it was a little after 7:30 and the sun was just about set. Then I was alittle more bummed when some geese went flying by (in v formation) and actually were headed south. After that I was taking a look around and noticed that the neighbors two houses down covered the pool. I just shook my head. The season has drawn to a close.

Good morning. I'm having trouble getting around here today. THE MAN JR., is making me work my brain really hard this morning. I'm looking for a job from 2 or 3 years ago, but he can't remember the customer, so I'm having to do some digging. My brain hurts and I need more coffee... hmm

On the other hand, I cooked a pot of Posole (hominy stew) and cornbread to share with everyone for lunch. smile

Oh, and in the wee hours of the morning, I think I felt an earthquake. I woke up to the dog barking, barking, barking. And I felt the bed vibrating. I e-mailed the Oklahoma Geological place. Maybe they'll e-mail me back soon.

Eh, just another day here.

I've got a bit of a Nyquil hangover, but that is getting better. It usually doesn't bother me, but I think I kind of double dosed by taking Nyquil too close to the Tylenol allergy I'd taken earlier. I just be a mouth breather today.

My day seems to be improving. Went to the Dr. All was fine there far as I know for now. Go to get "the girls" smash-o-gramed tomorrow. Put out the PSA to the whole list of inquiring minds who demand to know. For whatever reason, Momma decided that it is critically important for her to now have a gas card, so she decided I needed to apply for one for her online.

Right now, going to get the Pambo because she wants to go to the PCS store.

We got her a cheapo phone for her business account. I tried to explain to the dude that she wanted her existent phone and number moved to her Advantage Club (employee pays for it) plan and the new phone and number to be on the employee zero dollar plan. Instead, he put the new number on her old phone and her old number on the new phone so that the new phone and old number will go to the employee plan.

Gotta get that fixed.

I need a nap. Now off to go take Marissa to work and then have coffee with the other BFF. He says he is worried about me. I still think I just need a nap.
