It wasn't pretty for either team, but I'll gladly take the win. It is still early in the series. There is still alot of work for the Phils to do. I hope the Phillies can make it a short one. It would be nice to send the Dodgers packing for the season again. It also would be sweet if the Phils could win the series in Philly. Nothing like doing it at home in front of your fans.

I will make you this deal...I will support your Phillies, Eagles (cant support the 76ers) and Flyers as long as they dont impede any of my team's interests.
On Friday, they turned into the stoopid Phillies. They had a 1-0 lead for the longest time. An error in the 8th opened the door and the Dodgers scored two runs. They won the game 1-0.

Talk about a Phlattening. Welcome home boys! Whew! The Phillies decided to pour it on last night in game 3. They were able to get the the Dodgers starter. He didn't last two innings. The Phils lead 4-0 after one inning and 6-0 after two innings. In the end, it was a 11-0 Phillies win. Here's hoping they can repeat the performance tonight.

It would be nice to have them clinch the NL pennant at home this year. They would have an even better shot if they hadn't blown the game Friday night. Oh well, that game is over and the situation is before us. After they win tonight, they will be one win closer. Go Phils!

I know. The picther that is pitching for the Phillies tonight was robber all year long. He was one of those pitchers whose record doesn't reflect how well he pitched. In some games the Phils blew it, in others they just could muster any offense. Tonight both sides will be on the same page. The offense will support him with plenty-o-runs and he will pitch a great game. Maybe he can even hit another homerun. He hit one in the World Series last year.
Have I mentioned - Let's go Phillies - lately?

That was just plain bad yesterday. I got up and walked away from the games a few times. I think I skipped half of the second quarter. And the second half of the third quarter into the fourth. They absolutely deserved to lose.

I am afraid I am not informed about your Packers this year. But you can tell me all about them. I do know that they won yesterday. We didn't get a 1pm on Fox yesterday. I really wanted to watch the Giants/Saints game. Saints smacked the Giants around too.

Yeah, they pulled that game out after taking the early lead. They weren't listening to me. Probably because I wasn't giving them my full attention later in the game. I was watching two other shows and checking in on them. They were winning when I left them. After my shows I went back to watching them fulltime. They finally heard what I was saying and got the job done. Last night's win makes up for them blowing game 2. Wednesday may be a pitcher's duel. We shall see. Let's go Phillies! Win the NL pennant at home this year!

Hey D - check this out. If I do this right, and am able to attached the page, you will see how the announcers as well as MLB.com are against my Phillies. I just don't understand why they just can't give credit where credit is due. Someone at MLB.com posted the incorrect story. See the headline and then look to the top left to see the winning pitchers.
I think they were thinking the Dodgers were pretty close to finishing things off with 2 out that they just prematurely posted the wrong version of the story. Kind of like Dewey defeats Truman in 48'.
Even though the Angels postponed the inevitable with a win yesterday, it is looking more and more like the Phillies are on a collision course with the Yankees. It would be a phenomenal World Series. I think Philadelphia would have to be the sentimental favorite there. As much as I like Derek Jeter and Sabathia...gotta root for the NL team.
