I stopped by Penn Station for lunch today, shame on me. I'm having cheesebread, fries (the only fries I can have because they cook theirs in peanut oil), and lemonade.
The weather was beautiful yesterday, but it's not so bad today either. It's 60 and mostly cloudy. There's a 90 percent chance of rain, but I haven't seen a drop yet, and it doesn't feel like it's going to rain.
The reason I started this thread is because 2 people today have asked me what I'm dressed up for. I'm wearing plain brown slacks, a sleeveless cream top that's slightly sheer and is meant to fit a bit tighter than I like, a tan blazer, and a hematite and pearl necklace with pearl earrings that I wear all the time. I have my hair pulled back in a topsy tail style ponytail (remember those things?) because I didn't wash it this morning. It's not unusual for me to wear a blazer (I think I've worn one every day this week), and I occasionally wear my hair up. I don't feel like I look special today, in fact, I think this is my down day for style so far this week. I'm baffled.
