Good day all.

I'm having a pretty lazy Sunday.  There's stuff that I should be doing, but I'm lacking the motivation to do much more than play video games.  I've done pretty good, I've done dishes, am doing laundry, made breakfast, and made candy coated pretzels.  I got this kit, but instead of the "light cocoa" and "vanilla" candy they put in it, I used more white chocolate and peanut butter chocolate swirls and just used the vanilla for colored spots.  They came out pretty good, I need to get some more peanut butter chocolate to make more.

For what I intended to be sort of a lazy day, I have been quite busy. I've done some laundry, got the big pile of leaves bagged up... finished 5 minutes after the rain started, went to Costco to pick up a few things, made a beef stew, and made a banana nut bread. lick.gif The stew will be done in about an hour or so, just in time for the late football game.

The Chiefs sucked today, but that was to be expected. The Packers stomped on the Browns... YAY! AND the Steelers handed Favre and the Vikings their first loss of the season. Good football day. Right now I'm watching hte last quarter of the Saints / Dolphins game. GO SAINTS! They are down by 3.

today we went to the Hunting Moon Pow Wow at Potowatomi Bingo. It was ok, I like it better when its at State Fair. More room at the fair. However, it was cool to see the new paramutual betting lounge~ I'm gonna like that come winter. I like betting on horses- this will make it easy to do so.

also had the biggest indian taco I ever seen. it was like pizza sized. ate it at about 3 o'clock. its not 8:30 and I am no where near hungry yet.smile

Checkin in for a hey! how ya doin?
What a great weekend. I'm exhausted.
Swapped motors at a friends place. Hold it, that didn't sound good...
A friend is trying to make one car from two 1965 Olds Cutlass. So, we pulled the interior and motor from the broken one and are putting it into the one that came as a shell.
Three parties. JD will help post a picture of me from Friday. Pretty cool look, I think. Closer to the Prodigy than Flock of Seagulls but, a good one. Too much Gin and Tonic, well, not too much but, a lot. Food, food and more food.
Pumpkin carving today/night. Just got home.

Dang, Squonk! That makes me tired just thinking about it. smile.gif

I think I might skip the pumpkin carving this year. I dunno... maybe I will change my mind by Thursday.

Right now, grooving to the tunes and watching the game. Got all my weekend chores finally checked off the list...last one to go was color the hair. Must keep the evil gray away. laughing.gif

Well, maybe I'll post the picture of my pumpkin. Might get you inspired. I saw it on a cover of a magazine while in line at the store in PA. It was funny because we took a picture of the magazine cover. The staff at the store must have thought we were kooks.

Oh ya, forgot this one... I was at the parents house for about four hours today, helping them straighten out their garage. Awesome day to be outside. (for sure!)

It wasn't too cold here today either. Just started raining around 1:00. I was outside messing around with the yard for a while. Got the worst of it done, so I can't complain.
