Tonight we're goin be-bop heavy! Expect a lot of horns! Tonight will be bebop night on jazz 101; expect to hear a lot of Parker, Miles, Dizzy and much much more!

yea that's it dave! I used to go longer, in fact had started a show called College Daze Revisted, after Jazz 101 where I just played the weirdest collection of stuff I could find- it was genre free radio- you might have had Johnny Cash followed by The Dead Boys followed by some African Chants and then some Pavarotti.


yea...station management put the kobosh on that after a couple of weeks.....

well thanks- I don't feel like I had such an "off" night then. I just tripped over my tongue again and again tonight- but when I shut up, the MUSIC makes that forgivable! Good choice in wanting to hear Lionell Hampton tonight too!
