Good day, all. Winter is making its first appearance in Kansas. It did in fact snow a little overnight. Nothing to get excited about, but it is in fact there.
Kind of a heavy day in my little world... my nephew leaves for Afghanistan today. Not sure of course where specifically he will be, but he did say "not in the green zone". Funny... I didn't know there was a "green zone" there.
Otherwise, not much on the books for today. Hope everybody has a nice one.

Today will be a day where I'm sick of the rat race, sick of paying bills etc.... you know, that whole dark side of capitalism....fully knowing the irony that at least 10.3% of working age America would wish to be in my shoes....

Morning. The sun is out. The temps are in the low 50s. And we have the phones and internet back at work today. We lost them yesterday afternoon. Made it kind of hard to do the handful of things I planned.

Its 16 wonderful degrees this morning. Brr. I've got my space heater going under my desk.
One of my favorite groups is releasing a new CD today. I just checked Amazon and the mp3s are not available yet. Hopefully soon. It will give me something to watch for.
