Sparky sparked a topic when it was mentioned in his thread on super gluing his cut shut that vinegar hurts but stops the bleeding when poured over a cut.
Anyone have any other little know household, first aid, or other tips and tricks that they would like to share.
If you get stung by a bee, take baking soda and water and make a paste immediately and put over the sting area. The baking soda will draw out the stinger and help with the pain. My daughter, age 1 and 1/2 disturbed a bees nest by our pool and got hit 7 different places. The baking soda really helped until we could get the doctor on the phone. Thank goodness she wasn't allergic to bee stings.
if you burn yourself (skin) on something hot - put mustard on it. Let's it dry to a crust. You can wash it off after the sting goes away but it works well.
