Last Tuesday before Christmas. Where has this year gone.
It is about 21* with flurries here.
I have to work Christmas Eve and Christmas day this year. For most of you, there are only a couple days more of work this week before the Christmas holiday and Holy Day.
So really today may be a Tuesday, but its gonna feel like a Thursday for everyone.
Have a good one, unless you already have a good one.
Good morning, all. I woke up this morning and decided that in fact this will be a WFH day. Its my last work day of the year, so I might as well fully enjoy it.
YAY for your long weekend, JR.
Ghost... happy for you that you don't have to go out and deal with the wackadoos on the road.
D... enjoy the rest of your weekend. Its no fun working the holidays, but you and your co-workers provide a vital service to the community. They are lucky to have you.

Morning all. One more full day for me in the office. And then a half tomorrow. Although, I could make it a complete off day. We shall see how the day goes. I am leaning towards taking the entire day tomorrow. I have the time, why not take it?

You are just now writing your e-mail to Santa? Why did you wait so long? Couldn't decide what you wanted? Were you a bad boy and you are trying to sneak it in and hope he doesn't notice?

Nope. I just know that the last thing to get packed into the sled is the first thing to come out of the sled when he starts his run.
By early Christmas Eve I expect to be unwrapping my very own Rachel McAdams!
YAY ME!!!
You know, we wouldn't want her suffocating underneath all those other gifts!

I have decided that they don't seem to concerned about me (although they would be in trouble if I were to be hit by a bus or jump off the bridge into the river), so why should I be concerned with them?
They give me the time, I bust my big 'ol butt all year and have nothing to show for it, so I should take it. Screw 'em.

We are under a winter storm warning for the next couple days. Right now, we are smack in the middle of the expected path. They are saying we could get up to 18" of snow but they are not sure of the path yet. If that happens, it looks like we will be having a quiet Christmas at home . . . not that that is such a bad thing.
It's only Tuesday, but I'm so looking forward to sleep-in Saturday! I've been staying up long past bedtime baking and packaging -- my doggies ache... I made some awesome oatmeal-raisin-walnut cookies last night, out of my I Hate To Cook cookbook.
Tulsa metro weather is going to be fair today -- 50ish & cloudy.

Alas, we all know that no slacking off is a good work thing. Well, we will just have to wait until January. But then it will be month, quarter and year end. Who is going to have time then?
The next four work months are going to suck. All the more reason to take all my time remaining. There really won't be an off day until late April. I am sure I will need a mental health day by then.

Yuck. I hope you don't get that much snow! They're predicting snow and freezing rain for us beginning on Thursday evening until sometime Friday. I seriously hope we don't get this much!
We are due for that freezing rain crap Friday morning. It is supposed to get warmer as the day moves on and turn to just rain. I hope that is the case. I am headed to Mom's Friday and have a 50 mile drive. Since I won';t leave unitl noon, I worry about the ride home more.
