well, Meat Loaf of course!!!!!!! Man! Don't get me wrong, Mr Loaf is ok...but gee whiz the whole thought of a SHRINE in the studio is a bit much! Haven't really heard any new LOAF on the radio in oh........25 yrs??
Riggs, when involved with the start of the station, wasn't going to go for Freeze Frame Radio. He wanted to call it Meat Loaf Radio......and he refuses to talk about it! One day he is all "Meat Loaf Radio .com.edu.org.gov FOREVER!!!!!" next day he says "yea....its going to be something called "Freeze Frame.....and get this on Sunday nights they want a jazz show......WHAT IDIOTS!......oh wait, you like jazz, don't you JD the Jazz Doctor?........Can you help me out here?"

well I sure do as a matter of fact- I call it JD's Grandma's Meat Loaf Cordon Bleu:
Here is the old family recipie as recited to me from Grams-
go to the store before it gets to crowded for the love of pete!
get yourself a pound and 1/2 of ground beef, a small thing of milk, what is that a pint or whatever they call it for crimminay sakes? go get some swiss cheese cuz its by the milk anyhow and go to the deli and get 1/4 pound of ham, whatever hey?get an onion you already got butter, you already got an egg cuz if you don't you are not wise.
Ok so you got all this STUFF.
you got to mix your meat, milk, diced onins, egg, milk, oh man if you got bread crumbs throw like a cup or so in ther too- salt and pepper until its good. make this into a loaf. now here is the trick. Peel off the top 1/3 of the loaf or so. now lay the ham and cheese in there, and retop with the meat and pad that all back into a loaf BE QUICK FOR THE LOVE OF MIKE.
now butter a meat loaf pan and put the loaf in there DONT MAKE A MESS EY?
cook this in yer PREHEATED O JEEZ oven at 350 for 1 hr. a whole new meat loaf experience!
