Good Tuesday morning!

Duane's boss reconsidered and has rehired him and cut him his check! My prayers have been answered!!! And he has been humbled I am sure.

I have been having nightmares a lot lately- last night I dreamt that my boss threw coffee on me and tried to choke me and I had to call the police. Duane was there just waiting around with me- not killing him and Emily was there with a high fever waiting to go to the doctor. Strangely he pissed me off yesterday!

The kids came back yesterday and we were swamped. Will be too today. Tonight E has dance and the boy has practice with the Praise and Worship band and I get to be the driver!

Have a great!

The things stress can do to you Ruby hmm I hope you sleep better tonight

I need to try and get payroll done. I simply couldn't focus yesterday. I hate Mondays. Pretty sure Tuesday is just Monday under an alias but at least I have coffee today!

Tonight we have dinner with The Girl. Not looking forawrd to it because nothing has really changed in that department and Mr Woo said that he wished that she would just take him off this rollercoaster ride. If she doesn't want him to be apart of her life, then let him go so he can deal. I am so tired of having to pick up the pieces. But there is nothing I can do. *sigh*

Anyway- I should do some work. Have a good day!

Good day all.

That's awesome news Ruby! I keep hoping that Brian's job will call him back, but I think they'll only want people who can drive.

I'm a wreck today. I'm tired. My throat hurts. The ankle that I sprained about 3 years ago hurts, I think maybe from all the cold (it's a bitch getting old). I think I pulled a muscle in my side last weekend. But considering all of that, I'm in a fairly good mood (for now, anyway).

Morning all. Today seemed to be one of those mornings were people decided that they were going to cut in front of me even thought there was clearly not enough room between my car and the car I was behind. no.gif Stupid people. And they wonder why there are so many minor accidents. I guess that trend started last night on my way home. I left here late and was making my way home. I wasn't even half a mile from the office. The car in front of me decided to squeeze into the right lane. Okay, I can deal with that. What I couldn't deal with was less than a quarter mile later they decided they were in the wrong lane and attempted to get back into my lane. What they didn't take into account was that I was occupying the space they wanted to get into. It was really close but I managed to avoid them. no.gif Stupid people.

All this stupid driving and it isn't even close to a full moon.

I want to go back to bed and stay there a few days. I think that is the safest thing for me to do.

Hi, y'all.  Just now getting around to the forum.  Trying to get some of the stray paper off my desk, but it just seems to multiply...

I had a scary dream last night, too.  Mine was more paranormal tho.  I hate when I dream that something I can't see is trying to get me or my family... hmm

I had a different kind of dream last night.

I was in Omaha for some reason and needed to pick up a few things before I drove home. I didn't want to waste much time because its a four hour drive and I just wanted to get home.

I was with an old friend who decided he'd go shopping with me and help me. The friend was not someone I know in real life. It was like three people I know in real life molded into one. He looked like one friend, acted like another, and lived in the same place as a different one.

Anyway, this friend said the we needed to go to this old store in Omaha that had just about anything you could need. We wasted a lot of time getting to this store which was in an old area of Omaha where driving and parking was really tight. He was right about the store though, they had everything.

This place was HUGE. It was like two city blocks of old "down town" types of buildings all hooked together, but opened up inside so you could go from one, to the next, to the next. Each building was a different theme of store. One building we walked into was extra big itself. That room alone was nothing but lawn ornaments made out of sandstone. It was just gnomes, bird baths, etc . . . all made out of sandstone . . . and hundreds of them, in this big, open, dusty, old building.

A lot of the dream was just walking around this place looking at things and trying to find what I needed. Although I was in a hurry to get going, it was amazing to see just how much, and what a wide range of stuff this place had.

What I actually needed was some computer software. In the dream, I knew exactly what I was looking for, but it was never really defined to where I know now what it was. FINALLY, we found the computer section (building). After a quick scan of the software, my friend said "Oh, here it is!" and we went to the counter, I paid and left.

Once we were outside and getting back into the car, I decided I better look at the box my friend grabbed and make sure it was what I was needing. The title on the box of software was "How to get your CDL license - A complete course, study guides, and practice tests". My friend started laughing his head off as I headed back inside to return it and get what I actually needed. I was ticked off at him because his prank meant it was going to take me even that much longer before I could finally head home. I knew that this was the kind of thing this guy does and I should have checked that he didn't pull something like that.

Then the dream ended with me walking back to toward the store any my friend waiting in the car laughing.

You mean you don't need your CDL?

Good day, all. Yesterday there was hardly anyone here. Today, FULL HOUSE. Still, not much going on. Just having good laughs at the office dingbat's expense... see Etch A Sketch thread.

Looks like our new org structure will be rolled out in phases over the rest of the month. Aparently the details on my level of the org structure will be released somewhere around the 25th. Oh joy! Another 2 weeks of waiting and wondering. There is a new corporate buzz word to be enjoyed... forklifting. When one is 'forklifted', one's entire department is moved under a new management structure. I thought that was just 'reorganization', but I guess not.

MZ, Both of my ankles have been severely sprained (one about 8 years ago and one just last fall) and I'm amazed at how the one from 8 years ago will be fine for a year or two and suddenly start hurting.

Last night at work I commented to the co-worker that the one I sprained a few months ago was really hurting. It almost felt like it was clicking as I walked.

Stoopid ankles.

Web, PLEASE tell me I was the friend (or the part of the friend I suppose I should say) that pulled the wrong stuff. PLEEEEEEEEEEEASE!! biggrin.gif

OH!

I have a tough decision to make at work. A second shift position in a different building opened up and I could probably have it if I want it.

On the one hand I would work 4:30 - Midnight, which would be a really nice shift. My weekends would be nice and clean (right now I get out at 6 AM on FRI and go back at 10 PM on SUN so it really feels like only Saturday is truly off).

But on the other side I'd be working alone and right now I really get along well with my co-worker. Also the building would have students in it for the first four hours or so, which means working around people getting in the way.

Decisions Decisions. hmm.gif

Exactly!  I put an Ace bandage on mine, which seems to help, but could just be psychological.

JR, it was you that pulled the prank on me.

(no, it wasn't him really, but if it makes him feel better, why not?)
