Good day, all. It is indeed Thursday. Happily it is WFH Thursday for me. Today and for the next several days it is supposed to be 40* or close to it.

The snow should be melted off soon.

It must be Thursday because one of the guys is wearing a tie. He has a tendency to only wear them on Thursdays. I think he does it so I know what day of the week it is.

Other than that, the sun is shining and I am having a cup of cinnamom apple tea.

It must be Thursday because there's a paycheck sitting on my desk!

Looks like rain sometime today (?), but at least it's not freezing!

Happy Thursday everyone.

MZ, working third shift the "it must be" threads are very appropriate. I'm never sure what day it is when I'm working.

Along that note, I just got off the phone with the second shift supervisor at work. He says if I want the second shift slot it's mine. That would mean sleeping normal EVERY day of the week, which would be sweet. It would also mean two day weekends that feel like two day weekends. Also sweet.

But, as with all things in life there are some big trade-offs that make it a far from perfect scenario.

I'm going to go in early tonight to talk with the supervisor and give him my decision tomorrow. If I decide to take it I'd start on February 1'st. Hopefully I make the right choice.

Other than that, it was a really nice day here, nearly 40. A lot of the snow outside my windows has compacted or even disappeared.

Carry on my wayward sons. Don' you cry no more!
