Man it should be Friday by now. This week is the week of whining at my job. Can't wait til things slow down. Sitting here with the puppy is very calming though, lab babies are precious

yawn  I so sleepy.  Stayed up late to watch disc 3 of LOST Season 5.  I need to be up on things when the final season begins next month.

Feels and smells like spring in the Tulsa metro. 

Looks like my day in the office will be spent catching up on filing bleh

The weather is uneventful here.  I am not complaining. About 28* and cloudy right now.

I am off this week.  I have written a couple songs.  Man I could get used to this kind of leisurely activity. smile

I just agreed that Brian's friend can stay with us for a few weeks.

His name is Clint, and he's a good guy. He was helping his parents out at their farm in Kentucky, but when they decided to move, he decided he wanted to come back to Bloomington. He arranged to stay with another friend in their basement until he found a job and got his own place. He's been staying there a little less than a week, but the basement is full of mold and it's making him sick.

He's not the type to ask for favors or have to rely on his friends, and he's a very hard worker. So I trust him, and I don't think it will be long until he finds a job and gets his own place.

But it'll still be a little nervewracking not having the house to myself, and the uncertainty of the future. He works in the same field as Brian, that's how they met, so having both of them on the job hunt will probably help them find twice the amount of jobs. But I'm the sole breadwinner in a now 3 person household. But Clint will pay us back when he gets a job.

It's a tricky situation, but I think I made the right decision. There's few people I would do something like this for, but he's one of them.

Morning gang (he says at 5 PM).

Hey MZ, first of all, I feel ya on the burnt out. I think it's kind of common around this time of year though. We get so many days off between Thanksgiving and New Years, then settle in to a stretch of actual five day weeks, you get that burnt out feeling pretty quick. Well, that's the case for me anyway.

Second, how VERY generous of you to let Brian's friends stay with you. I don't know if I could do that for someone other than family for more than a few days.

Looks like a pretty nice day considering it's January. possible freezing rain tonight though, hopefully that doesn't materialize.

I'm surprised how poorly I slept today. I came home exhausted and figured I'd sleep great. Instead I woke up practically every hour. angered.gif

Oh well. Time to clean up and get ready to go back in to work.

Hi all.  I'm tired myself today and am looking forward to the weekend even though every day is like a weekend for me now.  I went to bed fairly early last night but I don't think I slept very well.....I know I had lots of vivid dreams but didn't remember even one when I woke up this morning. 

Mz, very nice of you to open your home to someone who needs a place to stay for a while.  smile

JR, you mean you wouldn't open your home to me if I needed it??  Think of all the fun we could have discussing politics, religion, the direction the country is headed in, and anything else that popped into our heads.  You might loosen up on being such a die-hard Republican and I might re-think some of my commie, pinko, flamin' Liberal views.winkbiggrinbiggrin
