Ghost, I cant speak for JR...

But I will say I have never been in Lake MIchigan.
I would like to try the Lake Express, a ship that crosses the lake some time.
Maybe this summer.

Wish they would have had that when I was in MI for law school.

We're kind of talking about going up that direction for our vacation this year. I've never seen an ocean, a really big lake would be similar.

Get out of the cities, and the lake shore is very pretty. It's kind of cool to look out on the lake, knowing there is a state on the other side but you can't see it. Your son might get a kick out of seeing some freighter ships if there are any out on the water.

I've seen the lake once. We flew out of Lincoln to Tennessee with a stop through Chicago, but that's it.
