Old Milwaukee was actually sold to Stroh's out of Detroit I believe. It is actually made elsewhere.  Only Miller is now brewed in the Brew City.   I dont believe it has won any gold medals among the Eurpean brewing masters either...Maybe not palate pleasing, just cheap.
