Grammy watchers?

Favorite:  Michael Jackson Tribute.  JR... did you still have your 3d glasses for the show.

And Pink.  I think she's amazing.  They swore she didn't lip sync.  How is it humanly possible to be spinning upside down that high in the air just wearing a body suit with discreetly placed glitter and still sing in key?

Worst:  Poor Taylor OBVIOUSLY doesn't lip sync.  Love her love her love her, but  vocal prowess is still being developed.  It's only fair though... she needs ONE area that's not yet a 10.

I didn't watch, but I saw clips of Pink's performance this morning on the news. Wow, that would have HAD to be tough to do.

I missed it too; was here chatting with the Sunday night crew.  I'll have to check out the highlights of the show; I'm sure they'll be around on the web today.

I didn't watch, but this is EXACTLY how I feel about her!  Word for word.

I didn't watch either, but have been hearing through other people and the news who won what.

I watched most of it.
Pink is amazing. I thought there was no way she could sing during her other award show performance which to me seemed more difficult than this one. But I still liked this one.

I thought Elton and Lady Gaga were perfectly matched- lol Crazy costume people. i'm not a huge fan of Elton but he certainly did not lose his voice.

Sorry, I like Taylor. I didn't like the performance but she went too twangy country for me. Was it on the VMAS where she was running around singing on a subway train? Anyway I thought she sounded very good during that.

I was disappointed with Bon Jovi. Not that they didn't sound good but I didn't care for the song choices other than the fan-picked one and then that one was cut short! Also Jennifer Nettles? is not part of Bon Jovi so why did she remain up there? That was weird to me. First Grammy performance so I think it should have reflected more on them.

Loved the Green Day performance! Would never have thought Green Day = Musical before but it worked!

I'm very happy Kings Of Leon won a Grammy! I thought for sure they wouldn't being stacked against that competition. Also- loved Green Day saying they were going to go do shots with KOL. There's a party I would love to be at! lol

I forgot how many good artists are usually on the grammy's.  I wonder if they'll rerun it at all.

Oops, sorry I missed this yesterday T-Gal.  I actually do have some of those 3D glasses left, but I missed the show anyway.

As for Pink, I didn't care much for her first CD, but the second one blew me away and I've been a fan ever since.  A couple family members have been raving about how good her concert video is so I finally ordered it.  I'm really excited to check it out.

Sorry to hear Taylor wasn't at her best.  I'm a big fan.  But I know her voice isn't exactly as strong as Martina's.  no.gif

Very good point. That woman has some pipes. She's probably my favorite female country singer if we're talking voice only.

I still get goosebumps when I hear "Independence Day". I really do!

She is an amazing singer.  And that is an amazing song!  I have been honored to experience it performed live- by both Martina and by Gretchen Peters.  smile.gif

Pink's Funhouse tour was featured on VH1 a couple of weeks ago.  Made me wanna go by a concert ticket again.  I haven't done that in 15 years!!
