Good day, all! Yes, it is Groundhog Day. Of course, Punxsutawney Phil has proclaimed 6 more weeks of winter... as usual. I just watched the ceremony broadcast live from Gobbler's Knob. weirdface.gif

PETA said last week they want Phil to be released and replaced with a mechanical groundhog.

It's not fair to Phil that he's in captivity for a full year just to be used once a year.

First of all. Is Phil really the same groundhog every year? How long do they live?

Second of all. I'm betting Phil is probably one of the best cared for and well treated Ground Hogs on the face of the planet.

PETA could kiss my dogs butt (if I still had a dog smile.gif)

Pretty sure its not the same groundhog. The eagle eye of the MSNBC commentator Savannah Guthrie pointed out that Phil looked smaller and thinner than he did before.

Good morning my friends.  It's a wonderful day in the neighborhood! smile


I woke up this morning to the sound of crows.....lots and lots of crows!  They must have roosted for the night in the trees around my house and my neighbors.  First thing I thought of was the movie "The Birds."  When they flew away right after daybreak, they all left at one time.  Must have been close to 50 of them.  I've never seen that many crows at one time.  Hope they don't come back tonight because they sure were noisy this morning.

I should have gone to bed already but unfortunately I'm not that sleep. I hate when that happens.

Try to stay away from the computer at least half an hour before bed. It would be better to make it at least an hour before.

I am having issues typing today.
