I am so glad it's Friday. I'm ready for this week to be over.
And I have no commitments or meetings to go to this weekend. But I was invited over to watch the superbowl with a new friend's family. She's another lady who wrote a book for NaNoWriMo. She's one of those people that I just seemed to bond with instantly, and vice versa.
Good day, all! TGIF!!! Its been quite the week for me. This should be a more low key day.
Looks like most of us are going to get hit by some part of the latest stormageddon today too. There have been some snow flurries here, but nothing accumulating thus far. Apparently I'm on the outside edge of the storm so the National Weather Service is basically saying 'could be 1-4 inches, might accumulate on the roads, might be slushy, might not...' . They seem fairly convinced that those of you in the Ohio River Valley region are going to get nailed hard. Good luck!
Hope it is a good day for all.

Good morning all. Hope those of you that are supposed to get snow have a safe journey to/from work.
I'm enjoying my cup of coffee this morning and thinking about doing laundry. We're going to an all-you-can-eat walleye dinner tonight. No cooking for me tonight.
I'm not sure i am happy for Friday. I hate busy weekends. Tomorrow we have his family reunion for his Dad's side. He is not close with his real dad and rarely goes. They have reunions twice a year. But at the last funeral some of his other family asked him to please come that there were other people besides his dad there. So he is going. I am socially awkward and don't really know anyone there so it will be a very long day. And I really hope his brother doesn't come. The whole pretending that there was never family blow out gets on my nerves. Also he feels the need to corner Mr Woo and tell him about his girlfriend and all his quests. He is married. There is no way his wife does not know. What a weird relationship.
Oh and we have to bowl on Sunday. I wonder if everyone will show with it being Super Bowl and all. Oh and my sis says that a friend is coming to hang out while we bowl but we are not to know about all the weirdness that is going on in her life concerning her husband. *sigh*
I have a feeling I am going to want another weekend to recover from my weekend.
Friday on...

Some of us won't be going anywhere anyway even if we had plans. Last night they were saying 8-14" here by early Saturday eveing when it pushes through and stops. I have not yet looked at the forecast this morning. But I have prettry much cancelled the few things I did have planned.
New weekend plan = watch snow fall, watch tv, eat, play video games, finish tax returns, eat, have adult beverages, sleep, eat, shovel snow, drink hot cocoa, eat, laundry, wash dishes, clean the kitchen, watch football and eat.
I am glad Friday has arrived. I am also glad that payday has arrived. That is always a good thing.
Friday on.

All this talk about snow and I realize that I don't even pay attention to my weather anymore. Is Michigan getting anything? lol This winter has been very tame for us.

Ah, south of Philadelphia and the lower portion of NJ are due to be smacked heavily. They got quite a bit not too long ago and we didn't get anything. Those southern storms can wreck havoc sometimes. The weather that comes from you guys out west doesn't usually have too much of an impact on them.

Good morning! The NEEDY ONE is like my new best friend now like the puppy you feed once and is waiting at the door every morning for more... seriously, I hadn't even turned the light on in my office and he was there at the door with papers in his hand
We were lucky this time... Tulsa was on the very bottom edge of this storm. A little fog and drizzle. Hope y'all to the east don't get it too bad.

Yeah, in Indiana, Indy seems to be the dividing line for weather for the state. It looks like I'm more in line with your south of Philly and south Jersey, if not even a touch more south.
Happy Friday!! I'm soooo looking forward to my weekend. Manfriend and I are celebrating V-day early since we both have our kids next weekend.
I get to woo him tonight. He takes his turn Saturday night. We're making a weekend of it!! Seeing who can out woo the other. It's a win win situation!!
Wonder how much longer it will snow here today. Its still coming down pretty good right now, but the forecast says it is supposed to be done by this evening. Looks to be about 2 inches on the ground already.
