Did you know it's National Friendship week?  Well if that e-mail is true then I want you all to know that you are my friends here's an exerpt from it:


Now...go on and have a nice day. Do something you WANT to......not something on your SHOULD DO list. If you were going to die soon and had only one phone call you could make, who would you call and what would you say? And why are you waiting?

Very deep Star. Fortunately for me everyday I get to do that when I go to the hospital. I go because I want to not because I have to. One of my sister's never goes! I have no regrets and no phone calls to make. I have peace in my heart. I live by the motto never go to bed mad!

it was suppose to storm today so I was going to stay late to work and get stuff done, but its sunny at 84- so I will get out on time and go sit by the river by the ducks instead! something for me! There's a huron that sometimes flies by, a couple of big hawks, and this little thing- I can't tell if its a baby wolf or fox accross the river who chases the ducks! better than tv!

I figured out who I'd call - my brother, Duke.  He's like my twin.  I miss him.  Our song is coming up - Leather and Lace.  It's a long story but I used to have a karaoke machine and we sang it together-he made kind of a game out of it.  I'm gonna call him tonight.

Yes, another long story.  and our song is playing.


Okay I hate to but here goes.


When he was born he looked funny w/ jaundice and all so my dad said he looked like my uncle Duke who I guess was funny looking.   I don't know I was 1 and a half at the time.  and no one wanted my dad to call him that.  So of course he did!  And then the name stuck.

Cunfuzzed, here's a hug for ya!  I missed the group hug too.  I ended up deleting my entire FY master patient list and had to do it all over again.
