Good day all.

Yep, that's me. It's the picture that I'm going to use on my About the Author page (you guessed right Dylan).

Not a whole lot of plans for me this weekend. I need to format my book and send it off for the proof copy. Tonight we'll probably go over to the neighbor's and play some 1 vs 100. Tomorrow night, we'll probably go visit some friends. Other than that, I want to do a whole lot of nothing.

Why didn't you ever pursue self-publishing that first book you wrote last year?  Or did you and I just don't remember.  (I do miss a lot around here.  I'm kinda like that glassy eyed white haired old man that just sits on the bench feeding the birds)

Thanks! A friend was supposed to come over last night to help me out and take some pictures, but she was sick and couldn't come over. But I thought I was having a halfway decent hair and makeup day, so I tried to take some pictures myself with the self timer. They actually came out pretty darn good.

I haven't published the other one yet for 2 reasons: First, it's not done. I'm still editing it. Second, I think it's a much better novel than this one, and I'd like to try shopping it out to traditional publishers.

Ah, ok.  That makes sense.

I THOUGHT that you weren't as big on the second one as you were on the first one, which is why I was surprised you were moving forward on this one while the other seemed to just kind of get forgotten about.

So where will this be published?  Is it one of those internet sites where you can order it and get it printed on demand?  Or will you be ordering a lot of them to be delivered directly to you so you can turn around and sell them?

Lastly, when I order my copy can I get it signed?  confused.gif

Oh wait, one more thing.  Can you introduce me to Steven King if you make it big?

Good morning friends.  No big plans here.  I might take a drive up to the cabin this weekend to check on it, make sure everything is ok there.  Valentine's Day...nah, no plans......it's just another day of the week for me, nothing special about it.

Mz, love the new picture of you! You should print one, frame it in a pretty frame, and give it to your husband for Valentine's Day.  Beautiful picture of you! smile

Yeah, I'm just publishing the second one because it's a horror novel and there's a big horror convention coming up that I can sell it at.

I'm publishing it with Amazon's print on demand publisher called Create Space.  But I'm still ordering a batch to sell at the con.

Of course you can get yours signed!

And of course I'd introduce you to Steven King!

If Woo were here she'd say "Bazinga!" (courtesy of Sheldon from Big Bang Theory).

Actually though, you're not far off.  The last book he did is VERY heavy with text, but is kind of set up like a kids book.  Almost looks like a home-made scrapbook.

Just checking in. Just haven't been real chatty lately.
We got that snow day on Wed even though we only got half of what they predicted. Mr Woo ended up having to go in for 3 snow shovel jobs because employees fail.

Teh Girl had a dentist appt yesterday to look at her lockjaw problem. She needs a specialist and dental insurance won't cover it. HR is looking into if medical insurance will.

Other than that I have just been trying to get caught up on the work I missed.

Good day, all. I am firmly in the "TGIF" group! I've been in the office for a little over an hour and someone has already worked my nerves. I have a 2 hour meeting this afternoon that is going to work my nerves, and this chucklehead came over to ask me what the meeting is all about instead of asking any of the people he works with. At least I told him the truth "Cost versus quality".

Hoping that most of the rest of this day goes well.
