As we celebrate our independence this holiday week end...lets remember all the brave men and women who have served in our armed forces. Especially those who have paid the ultimate price.
A special thanks to those who serve now and to their family and friends who also sacrifice.
I hope you join with me in proudly flying the flag. I have it out daily, but especially for the 4th. We really are spoiled and take a lot for granted. I also have a special connection with two relatives that were on the Arizona on that fateful December day. I of course was not born yet, but our family speaks of them and honors them every memorial day, fourth and Dec 7th.
We'll be flying two flags at the lake. The Betsy Ross and standard Stars and Stripes. Happy 4th to all. A big tip of the hat to our armed forces past, present and future.
