I'm trying to decide if I'm going to get an appointment to go see the chiropractor for my shoulder. Its not hurting nearly as bad now, but its still popping and cracking when I move my arm. If I knew he could help me, I'd go. I just don't want to waste the money if he can't do anything.
I was watching the 11pm news last night and learned a new word last night - snowicane. Yes, apparently we are going to have hurricane force winds tomorrow with snow. I haven't checked today, but last night they said it will snow for 24 hours (again). Depending on the final track, we could get hit anywhere between 6-18". The track they were leaning towards was 6-12" one. Up further north it will be 12-18". I think LS and Darlene are going to get hit hard. We are do well with out melt off of our three feet. I don't want another foot.
I better go get something done. Then I should figure out what work I should take home in case I don't make it into the office on Friday. Since it won't start snowing until tomorrow morning, I will probably come in here. If they send us home early, so be it.

looks like a quiet day in the office... THE MAN is gone; NEEDY ONE is gone; SHE BOSS is off today; receptionist is in one of her quiet moods; OFFICE PEEPER has been holed up doing his thing; I've billed everything I can to date... Yes, I believe it will be a happy Wednesday...

Although I'm in an inappropriately good mood, I think it's going to be another crazy day today. So I don't expect the good mood to last.
Fuzzy, Murs, move already.
Web, I think it's a pretty safe bet that the chiropractor can at least attempt to help you. It sounds like the exact type of thing you go to a chiropractor for.
Okay, so maybe we are having a particularly snowy winter. But where are we to go? Can we move in with you? You already have company. Plus, there is only one of me but the Murs family is bigger.

Yeah, you'd have to share a room. And I don't think you'd want to share a room with Clint. He likes to talk. A lot.
Hello again... I'm on Diet Pepsi Max #3 of the day. Arrived at Camp Happy about half hour ago, and far as I'm concerned I have already made my contribution to this workday. 8:30AM conference call, got the Indian kid all riled up, and went upstairs to pick up my new desk phone. Apparently my current employer is not so much a fan of Unified Communications as our office phone service. Probably something about most of us "forget" to plug in our headsets. Ah well... back to the good ol' Nortel Meridian desk phone. Won't have a phone number for it for another month or so, but hey... I can call out. It works. No headset either so I'm betting this place will turn into speaker phone purgatory soon.

Hi all. Just thought I'd drop in and let you guys know that I'm still around, just not very talkative lately. I think I might be sliding into a mild depression.....boredom is eating away at me and the winter weather isn't helping matters any.
Web, I agree with Mz; I think the chiropractor would be able to help you out with your shoulder. You won't know if you don't go see him.
Fuzzy, sorry you're going to get clobbered again with more snow! But I'm very happy that it won't be in my driveway.
Ghost - you can come here and help me clear the driveway. I am sure it isn't as big as yours. Plus, a change of scenary may do you good. Then you can help me decide what color to have Mema's momma paint the downstairs of my house.

I don't know that I could handle that. I am good at listening and I don't mind conversation, but I still need some quiet time.
Yeah, he's not so good at the quiet time. I grab my laptop and put my headphones on a lot. Especially once he starts talking about conspiracy theories. He's a really nice guy, the type that will do anything for you. But he's also one of those people who's going nonstop, way too much energy.
Sounds like he needs a hobby Mz. Maybe him and DH can join a league or something.
Oh, he has hobbies. He (and DH) play paintball when it's warm enough. When it's cold out, he plays basketball. And he complains that the guys he plays with don't play enough or don't get up early enough. Sometimes I just want to slip him a sedative.
Today is actually WFH day for me! Just got all set up yesterday. I'm sure it won;t a regular perk, but toiday I need to cover for my wife while she's at a funeral. May be WFH day tomorrow as well with the impending snow.
Speaking of which, moving to Florida is really sounding nice right about now....Have to see what the latest projections are when they come out this afternoon. Spring cannot come soon enough....Actually, I did see the daffodils already poking out of the ground out front this weekend...
Yeah, we are starting to thaw out nicely too. That green/brown stuff under the white stuff scared me. I didn't recognize it. But the parts of the yard that get the sun and didn't have extra snow piled on them are showing grass now. A lot of it happened over the weekend. We had two nice days with some sun and temps in the low 40s.

Hey Fuzzy, I was reading that the northeast was getting hit by back to back storms of massive proportions. This is the first year I've actually felt fortunate to live in WI.
HOWEVER, living near the lake kind of sucks. I went to bed this morning with no snow falling and only a trace predicted for the day (under an inch).
I woke up to several inches and it's coming down really hard right now. Apparently while I slept the winds changed and now we're having a lake-effect snow storm that could bring significant snowfall.
Tomorrow at work we have a big meeting in the morning. Co-worker just called a bit ago and left two drunken messages and a text. I have a feeling he won't be in tonight and I don't think it's coincidence.
