I'm having trouble w/ a database right now!!!  I can't find this site number when I do a search but on my bosses computer (same data base) it comes up!!!


Just wanted a chance to b****!

We currently have a couple Access databases we work with here.  Access is probably the worst and most unreliable program Microsoft has ever invented.  We always lose data!!!!  We're working on switching, but we still have to deal with it for now.


So Star, I feel your pain.

I hate access too, even worse if you have progress, Vantage.


For the accounting side, I am a true MAS90 fan.  Oracle is wonderful but find it too hard to teach to other users.

OK, not about databases, but related.  We are launching our new site on Monday.  I'm making the final adjustments, making sure all the fonts match, etc.  I have one spot, because of the darn CMS module I have to use, that my text is duplicated, but my account manager is out until Monday!!!!!  I hate these people, and I hate their software!!!!!!!!!!!!

Its been a few years since I dinked around with Access, but I remember thinking it just stunk. All kinds or weirdo mumbo-jumbo to get it up and running the way I wanted. Not good. I wonder if the Access group at Microsoft even exists anymore?
