    Well  it looks like I'll be spared from the brunt of the storm . The winds here will be around 50-70 ,as I live in a trailer I'll be leaving in just a bit for a brick house . I expect some power outages as that is par for here , someone spits and the lights go out. lol .  Those to my west are in for a very long day and then some .  With any luck I'll be back online Monday but if not don't PANIC as I have my TOWEL with me !   Dave and gang.

    Home !!   wind has dropped to around 30 , no rain in a while , damage  here- minimal ,to the east - panama city - flooding is a problem , to the west -destin to  pensacola ,  i know it  aint  pretty , major power outages , structual damage ,what Ivan started Dennis finished, those people are going to be hurting for a while .  Me and the gang do thank you for your t's and p's .   Dave

This has been a real trying weekend for my family as well, we have a forest fire less than a mile away from our house. They have evacuated all of the surrounding neighborhoods, letting some of them return after the fire has passed thru. We have all of our belongings packed by the door waiting for the evacuation notice. The biggest problem we have right now is the smoke and ash. Last night it looked like it was snowing in our yard. I probably won't be posting too much today as I'm sitting by the phone in my office.
