Harry Potter

OK, because of my guilty conscience from the fighting I had with my wife, I agreed to attend the midnight Harry Potter party and stand in line to get a book.  I did that with them when the last book came out, and vowed I would never do it again.  Is anyone else going to be a foolish as I am?  I could get a good nights rest and get the book at 7 am at Wal-Mart if I had sense in my head.

Just because it's my nature to wear costumes whenever given the chance, I'll be going to the Borders here just to terrify people in my Dementor costume, but unless I win the book in a costume contest, I won't be going home with the book tonight. I agree with you, I don't need to read the book so bad that I have to stand in line to have it that night. But I do have to wear the costume since I've got it from Halloween!

Sorry, not here. I tried to get my 13 year old interested, but he is not. He finally got into Star Wars and loves Lemony Snicket, but no Potter!

CP - next time I suggest you just pre-order through Amazon. Delivered to your door, no lines and a nice night's sleep.

Who are you kidding? You will still be sitting at your desk. Before going to the bookstore all those people are swinging by to laugh at you for still being there on a Friday night.

My daughters are trying on clothes to figure out what to wear.  Unbelievable.

You never know which cute boys will be there. Duh! Maybe they should coordinate with MzHartz. She is good for picking out her outfits.

My 12 year old sister wants to go at midnight to get it, but my mom told her she has to wait until tomorrow afternoon.  If she didn't live so far away, I would take her at midnight to get it, just because I'm the big sis and I do things like that.  Personally, I don't know if I'll even buy it.  I'll probably just borrow it from her!
