So someone comes in from another department talking about our new assignment (that I am refusing to do!). They come into to my office and laugh about those who say no and how they won't ever get a raise, because their names will be on "the list." Then they laugh, like no one would refuse. Then they laugh about the $300 stipend for taking the assignment and what a joke that is. Finally my boss tells him that he is trying to get me a raise and change my title because this is all so unsettling to me! Then he tells me to have a good weekend and walks out with his tail between his legs. I know he went home last night and realized what a big mistake he made... too late. He cannot even apologize, but it would not help. I am outta here! Sorry this should probably be on the rant thread!
