I want to thank everyone for their concern and prayers for my mom...especially for the prayers.


My mom actually died during her procedure and they brought her back.  If anyone doubts the power of your prayers, let this be exhibit A.


They were going to move her out of Intensive care and into a private room on Satyrday, but decided against it.  So she is still in ICU.


You are truly a great group of people I am privileged to call friends.

I think we've come to rely n the internet enough that they need to start offering it in the ICU waiting room in hospitals.  When my father-in-law was in the hospital, we did so many puzzles and watched so much HGTV, but I really felt disconnected from the world.  It was a very surreal experience.  If anyone wanted to contact us, we had to go outside to turn on our cell phones.  If we had access to some email, we could've kept our family in the loop without everyone having to be there all the time, especially when it just became a waiting game.


At any rate, Dylan, I know how hard this is right now, and I know we're the last thing you're thinking of, but thanks for keeping us in the loop.

Hey,

I just talked to Dylans mom on the phone and she sounds great! If I didn't know she was in the hospital I wouldn't know she was in the hospital!

She just said they appear to be getting ready to move her to a regular room.

My mom has been moved to a non-intensive care room.


She still will need a pace maker and another artery cleared out, but they will do that a few weeks from now.

Glad to hear that all is well, Dylan.  Over the weekend, any time that I was praying I made sure to raise your mother and your family up, and I always got a sense of peace.  It was very clear that God was already on the scene and that our prayers were being added to a very large chorus.  Here's to what she will do with the new lease on life!

Thanks Ruby,


My mom is still in the hospital...her heart rate has been erratic and they are waiting to see if a pace maker is the solution.  She is doing okay, but she is getting antsy for news and some activity.  Her endurance is way down; short walks cause her to tire easily.


She still is at a crossroads here, but I am optimistic.  Thank you again for all your prayers and kind thoughts. My mom has been touched by your concern and you have made this a little easier for me too.  God Bless you all!

It will probably take her awhile to recover, but it seems as if everything is going in a positive direction.


I feel as if our prayers helped.  I will continue to pray.  God bless you too.
