Wednesday? Feels like it should already be Friday... Isaac has a noon o'clock appointment to see what the doctor has to say about his increasingly frequent meltdown issues.

Morning all. Thanks for breakfast Thump. Nice job on 4th place.
The sun is out but it is chilly. It will only be 60 today, but will be 70 tomorrow and into the 80s over the weekend before dropping back down again next week.
Web - I think you should stay all bundled up and take a nap.

Good day, all. Its supposed to be somewhat sunny and around 70 today. That would be a nice change of pace.
Thumper... congrats on the bowling league standings. Good for you! Breakfast looks wonderful.
Web... hope you get feeling better soon.
DS... good luck with your son's Dr. appointment. I have a friend who has a child with a different version of autism. She has had several violent outbursts in the last few years. I think her latest meds are helping though.

Asperger's Syndrome? That's what I'm going to bring up to the doc. I understand that it is very successfully controlled with meds. Thanks for the well-wishes...

Hi all! It's kind of a busy day for me; woke up this morning and got the bathroom walls & ceiling all washed down, later this afternoon I have to take youngest girl to the dentist to get 4 teeth filled then head back to her school for Bio Fair at 6:00. That should be interesting since all of the plants the class has been growing DIED over the past few days due to the greenhouse missing some glass in the windows....the frost and freezing night-time temps killed 'em all. We'll be looking at sticks and wilted, yellow stuff trying to figure out what it was supposed to be.
One of the guys I work with has Aspberger's. He is very high functioning and is probably one of the most mellow people I know. He has been a foster parent for several behavior disordered teens over the years.
My other friend, Debbie, has a daughter with a different form of autism. Can't think of what the specific for is called, but it is what you would more traditionally identify with autism.

Probably sleeping right now. We got word that he would be done with his business functions by this weekend, but his return flight isn't until 5/7. He looked into changing flights to come back early, but apparently it was going to cost somewhere in the neighborhood of $7K to change.

Apparently some of the Muslim restaurants serve beef, but its pretty hard to find. He informed us that he was taking 2 suitcases with him on this trip. One with his clothes and personal sundries... the other full of beef jerky and Pop-Tarts.

Sundries, jerky and pop tarts...that sounds about right for a trip to ... anywhere!
It cracked me up! Before the first time he went over, the Indian kid that works for us offered to take him to an Indian restaurant to show him what the good food is. Ken just smiled and said, "I'm sure there is a McDonald's somewhere."

Are you winding down from the tax madness yet?
I didn't pay too much attention to the draft. The guys usually know what they are doing though.
I am winding down nicely. Last week was a bit rough. But I have settled in this week. Now, if I can quickly get these two outstanding audits wrapped up, I'll be even better.

Actually, I filed for it on-line last night. If I don't put it out there, I have no right to complain. I have had enough of the crap around here. Now we have had a promotion to a person that everyone else knows doesn't do any work.
On the watchfront though, my boss finally spoke to our boss about things that my boss and I discussed and requested during my review. He told me the boss seems receptive. We shall see if it is true and if he will actually fight for me. It could be an act. I don't have faith that the gesture is true. But he asked my boss for more information, so I provided some thigs to my boss to help him with his write-up. I will wait. But not too long. I will also continue to look for a better opportunity where someone will appreciate and value me, my work and my contribution to the organization.
