Good Morning everyone. I didn't sleep much. Too much work and too much arguing. Hope everyone has a good day. This company has asked that I also work part time out of another office about one half hour away. I told them on one condition. I want a T1 line for my FFR.
They said no, so I said no. Last night they called at 8 pm and told me to expect it in two weeks. The power of FFR.
100 in Nebraska? I didn't think our desert heat made it up that far. We were 121 the other day. Today's forecast 115 with 80% humidity as a storm comes in from the Pacific. These days are horrible reminds me too much of Wisconsin humidity.
It has been so hot here lately that my pool water is 96 degrees. I have this temperature gague in my house and I can't believe it. I had to shock it last night. I may just drain it and refill. Water that warm is not fun to swim in.
Yeah, we get the heat in the summer and cold in the winter. It's typical for us to have about two weeks of near 100 degrees in the summer and about two weeks below 0 in the winter.
One town here in NE (McCook) seems to always have the high temp. They are down in the South-West corner. They topped off at 109 yesterday. My friend there owns a heating/cooling business. Days like this are great for business but hard on him.
I've gotta go mow here at the shop/office today. I have just over an acre to mow. I'm gonna go get started before it gets hot.
Yesterday was 97 plus humidity, today is supposed to be 94. These are days that I'm thankful for air conditioning. Saturday is supposed to be 94, I think I'll spend it in the pool...
I got the shop/office mowed and trimmed this morning. I think I'll run home and mow there too before lunch. It sounds like this is as cool as it's going to be for several days . . . just as well Git 'er done!
It's a true story JR. I told them I wasn't going anywhere unless they installed and guaranteed FFR. I was told I did not need Internet access. I told them if they wanted me in the Palm Springs office, then I needed Freeze Frame radio.
and WEBGUY--do what I do--hire a gardener. I quit cutting the grass on my first attempt in the summer. Too hot and too lazy.
