Last night we celebreated my stepdaughter's 13th birthday. Nothing special though, just the family. Anyway it got me thinking about my favorite birthday memory. I always had to celebrate my birthday early becuase no one could come to my house on Xmas eve! Anyway, when I was younger they had an indoor amusement park called Old Chicago. It had some real fun rides inside. My mom took me and four of my friends. It was great until we had our cake and ice cream and then went to ride more rides. We got on one (can't remember the name) where the fllor falls out and you are sucked back to the wall by air and you are spinning. All five of us got sick on the ride!
It still was a great memory though and an awesome birthday party. How about you?
My mom was really good about giving me the things she didn't get as a kid, so I always had a birthday party. It was usually mostly family and a few friends. When I got older, I got to have friends over for sleepovers, and sometimes we got to stay in a tent in the yard. There isn't one in particular that stands out as being the best, though.
