JAVON REPORTS TO PACKER CAMP!

Whoa!

In a SHOCKING development Javon Walker reported to camp tonight, only days after Drew Rosenhaus said there was no way he would.

The bad news is that a rumour is spreading that the Pack caved and made a new deal with him. I hope that's not true.

CP,

I actually agree with you completely.

This club has been an embarassment in the post season time after time.

And I am the ONLY one among my friends and family willing to say this....

Favre is no longer a great player!

My friend Dylan, who is a tremendous homer, will now post to defend Brett, but numbers do not lie.

Since Holmgren left Favre has slowly regressed into the wild player he was in his early years, and he now often does things to hurt the team nearly as often as he does things to help us. He is cut a tremendous amount of slack by fans and media in part because he's such a quality guy, and because of nights like the Monday night game after his father died. No one can question his heart, but his talent is slipping and he's been playing as if it wasn't.

Having said all that, there is NO ONE I would rather have at Quarterback on the Green Bay Packers. I LOVE THIS GUY. He is in my opinion one of the top five quarterbacks of all time, based on EVERYTHING, not just stats.

I think Ty Detmer would have been great, but he never seemed to get a break.

SURE HE IS POST PEAK AND WHAT OTHER QUARTERBACK HAS EVER HAD TO GO UP AGAINST WHAT HE HAS IN HIS LIFE OFF THE FIELD???? YES HE IS IN THE TWIGHLIGHT OF HIS CAREER!! BUT FOR OVER A DECADE HE HAS BEEN THE ANCHOR OF THE BEST DECADE OF GREENBAY FOOTBALL EVER!!!!!!!!!! THE REST OF THE ORGANIZATION NEEDS TO STEP UP!!!! PROTECT YOUR HERO STILL FIGHTING!!!! HE HAS PLAYED LONGER IN PAIN THAN WITHOUT PAIN!!

A BUNCH OF VETERANS RETURN THIS YEAR. THERE IS NO EXCUSE FOR STUPIDITY ANY LONGER. GIVE BRETT THE SEND OFF HE DESERVES LIKE WHAT'S HIS FACE FROM DENVER HAD IN '97!!!!!!!!!!!!

JD, I may be old but not hard of hearing.  LOL.  I don't think Brett is going to perform well this year.  He said it himself, family problems.  Too much of a distraction.

I am more than ok with that if I see heart on the field. I would rather see heart that tries and loses, than  some snot like Warren Sapp or Bill Romanowski make headlines for being the disgraces to the NFL and humanity like Dion and Michael I were and still are. Brett is in his twighlight. And its not an easy twighlight at that. The torch must be passed. Is GB ready for that????

Your precious Packers are not ready for that. Or maybe it is more the fans are not ready for that. Farve is a great quarterback. That being said, his last two years have been a little rough.

Stinky Packers, smelly Bears. Go Eagles!

the Pack rules. always has. always will. 4000 yrs from now, civilization will access the great orb of sports history. The inquiring brain-waves will think "f-o-o-t-b-a-l-l" and low and behold, the first sceen the orb throws up is Bart Starrs victory winning scramble in the Ice Bowl.

Ok, I will give you the Bart Starr team was unstopable.  I loved Lionel Aldridge.  Too bad he died the way he did, homeless in Salt Lake City looking for his wife and kids.

Ray Nitchke sp? was awesome.

the good ole pack days.  will we see them again?
