I need to take a poll for work and we have a good cross section here.  Tell me, and believe me it is for work.


Do you take Baths, Showers, Use Bar Soap or Liquid Soap,


Do you use a washcloth, just the bar, or one of those pouf things.


(If you have not guessed I work for a Soap Company)

Shower every evening after I get home.
Just the bar of soap.


My wife usually showers in the morning with just the soap.
About once a week she takes a bath with the smelly things and the poofy deal.

showers, dove, wash rag.


BUT when I broke my ankle I had to take baths with my leg out of the tub! I had rediscovered just how awesome and healing a good hot soak is!!! Every once in awhile, especially in winter, I will grab 1/2 a bottle of red, throw on some Coltrane and go soak for an hour- emerging feeling like $1,000,000 !!!!!!

JD are you sure you don't feel like a prune. I'm with you on the winter bath. I like the water so hot if feels like I'm wearing wool socks. Ahhhh.

Oh yeah. I need to answer Mr. Bubbles survey.

My wife and I shower, use bar soap and wash clothes. Although I occasionally use the bar only. Zest or Lever is the bar of choice.

shower and liquid soap, but I just lather it in my hands - I don't use the poufs because I heard they were bacteria houses.

  shower with bar soap and a cloth if its near by ,  gave up on bathes after a girl i know said summthin ..".washing  your face with the same water your butts in ? eww ".  ive never forgotten that and that was 20 years ago . guess it scar-ed me for life .  note - one of the biggest trends in remodeling is elliminating the tub and having a bigger shower , (with a built in seat ) its great for older folks , they don't have to lift their leg a mile to get in / out so there are less accidents from falling . something to think about. (Ray)

I shower in the morning, wash cloth, bar soap.


Have a bath 2 or three nights a week just to relax, plus this desk job you really get dirty ya know.


My wife only takes baths with the smelly stuff and wash cloth but occasionaly showers if she is pressed for time.

I usually take a shower every morning.  I use liquid baby soap, usually on a pouf or a loofah. 


Every once in a while I'll take a bubble bath with smelly stuff.

    Ray , old ? you ? never my friend !  I was thinking about your parents , thought you had said something about getting them a house with your lotto winnings . I use the poof, just stick it in the mcrowave for one minute to dry it, kills all bacteria. I use some kind of liquid soap- bath & body works or dial lavendar scent.

   ferrets arent much for rolling around on dead things , they do however enjoy chaseing kats ! they  don't like baths but have a blast in the shower !  and to top it all off- they don't like california !

depending on my mood I usually shower,use a poof and use liquid body gel.


I also take a bath 3 times a week or so.

Shower, liquid soap 70%/bar soap 30%, and a wash cloth.

I am a freak about bar soap.  It grosses me out.  All my soap at every sink is liquid.  I think it has to do with having my mouth washed out with ivory or the squishy way it gets when left on a wet surface, or the thought of all those dirty hands touching it. yuck!


As to shower or bath, I am a marathon bather, soaking in a bubble bath with a good book is one of my favorite pastimes.   I love to play spa with the full effects face mask, sugar scrubs, loofah etc.   one of my best christmas presents was a huge bath basket of Origins products...    ahhhh.  


But Daily is a 7 minute shower with poof and shower gel. (currently bath and body works Gardenia Lily)
