So we have to go to Department of Juvenile Justice today. I bought my son something nice to wear and told my husbnad, pull what you want out and I will iron it when I get home. Well I get home and there are a pair of shorts on the ironing board. Besides the fact that they has been home two hours and he could have ironed them himself, I questioned why shorts? He says because he was not going to see a judge. But I said this is the second set of people to "judge" us about this. The first were the police. This set of people are the intake interviewers. They will gather pertinent info- reports cards, history, medical records, etc... Anyway then she turns that over to a judge. Now I will give my husband a little break, it was 99 today and there is a haze in the air I have never seen. But, we have air and they would too.
Long story short, he wore pants... but was I wrong? I hate first impressions, but I know they count! Where's JD I need a poll!
I don't think so. Every time I have to go to court, I wear a suit. Black suit with white shirt and Red tie. That color combination is a secret weapon of power, unless of course I am on the other side, then a Navy blue suit with blue shirt and plain tie.
