Wow. Big storms last night, more moving through later this afternoon. Finally some action in this sleepy little town.
I found out today that my schedule change finally is going through. It's a minor change but one I'm looking forward to. 9:30 - 5 AM Monday night through Saturday morning now.
This gives me more weekend time, which I think I'll really appreciate. Getting out at 5 will make sleep a little easier too. I can get to bed before the sun comes up 9 months out of the year. YAY!
Hmm, speaking of bed, that sounds good! Y'all have a GREAT day! LATER!
Today is shaping up to be a busy day. I'm probably going to miss most of the USA game, which sucks (although I think I found a radio station in the car). But Brian has 2 interviews today, which rocks! The first one is at 10:30, and it's going to be HOT today, so with the distance it is away from home, I'm going to drive him to it. The other interview may or may not be today. They called him yesterday and left a message that they wanted to set up an interview. But when he called them back this morning, they had no clue what he was talking about. And I listened to the message, it's very succinct, not like he'd be misinterpreting it or something.
Good day, all! I'm pretty darn sleepy still myself. I did let me sleep another hour today, but it doesn't seem to have helped all that much right now. It is sunny and was already 81* and really humid when I left the house this morning. Looking forward to WFH day tomorrow. We'll see how it goes for the rest of today. Not a super lot going on around here.
Good luck to Brian. I hope something works out for him soon.
Sleep well, JR.
Fuzzy and DS... let me know when nap time is over.

Thank you, ladies. It is exceedingly rare that there is even a remotely decent picture of me. I'm not very photogenic. Did figure it was time to update the profile pics since I largely quit curling my hair. It just became too much of a fight with the humidity that has beset us.
That was taken yesterday since I had the camera out to take pictures of Brehznev's reaction to his cubicle.

Good news and bad news. Brian does not have 2 interviews today, just the one. It was 2 different properties that called, but they're owned by the same guy. But it sounds like the interview went well, and Brian would really enjoy this job. Fingers crossed!
