My 13 year old likes the Eagles, that is another thread issue, but anyway this caught our eye this morning:


 Philadelphia Eagles defensive end Jerome McDougle was shot in the stomach by armed robbers, police said Friday. The team said he was in good condition after surgery.


Very sad, I pray that he heals quickly and that they capture the punks who did it

The evildoers were masked and came after his car. Apparently he was in the process of giving everything up and they shot him. After they did that he made the move to get out of the car and go after them and they fired again, thankfully missing him. This is a bummer because this is the same guy that blew his knee out last year and missed the entire year.

fuzzy  I know you said he missed the last season. How important is this guy to the squad that will hit the field for 2005? Is he 2nd-3rd string to The Eagles? Is this a major blow to the organization? (other than the obvious fact one of their own got gunned down, of course).

This is a bad situation here, and I hope justice is served, as I would for any case like this,,,but isn't this forum amazing?


We can immediately interact with someone from anywhere to get a first hand take on anything! Life does not mean anything anymore.

2 men are hanged in Iran for having gay relations and is punishable by either Hanging,stoned,cut in half by sword,or lashed to death. These kids were under the age of 18 and to even kiss in lust is punishable with sever beatings. While America has a long way to go in accepting this lifestyle, I am fortunate and grateful that the friends I have here and all around me are accepting of it and while they may not agree with it dont judge anyone about it.
