Hey everyone!!  Welcome back for another week and hey a new month.


Anyone have any interesting August facts - for me it's my mom's b-day on the 7th and a friend at church's mom has the same b-day.  Kind of neat.

It's back to school month.
I don't know about anyone else but for my daughter's books, pictures and other various stuff cost about $300 for 8th grade.
I also found out friday that my college bound daughter is paying nearly $200 a credit hour!!!! When I was in college credit hours were $37. Talk about sticker shock.

Let's see, August is Happiness Happens Month, National Inventor's Month, National Toddler Month, and National Win With Civility Month. 


This week is World Breastfeeding Week, Psychic Week, Elvis Week, and Weird Contest Week.  (Come on Jeremy, you must come up with some weird contests!)


Today is also Girlfriend's Day (big hug to all my girlfriends out there!), Respect for Parents Day, and Rounds Resounding Day (mean today is the day to sing rounds with your friends).

Morning All!


I'm with 'Fuzzed, this day is already starting crazy.  I just got a call from my wife to be home by 1:00 so I can drive her to the dentist for emegency dental work.  The pain is so bad it's affecting her sight in her right eye.

Me too. Pray for my patience as well. This is some thing she should have taken care of earlier but let it get away from her. She doesn't need a WFTR lecture right now, just a lift to the dentist and support.

Is the forum acting funny again, or is it just me? Think I'll keep my posts light for right now.

   confuzzed- i knew a girl who was late once , cost me $40.00 a week for 16 years . star - lend wef your crowbar and he wont have to go to dentist , i get 1/4 of money saved , you get 1/4 , wef still ahead !!

My cat had a hairball this morning all over my new rug I bought for the bathroom!!


what worse is I stepped in it as i did not see it till to late.

Ah yes, Thump, nothing like the feeling.  We have 2 cats, and I have experienced the joy of that cold, slimy glob oozing between bare toes in the middle of the night.
