Here's a long and detailed update. Be warned though that everyone who reads this may hear a lot more bitching and moaning than they're used to hearing from me.

To start with, I was at the cabin from July 20-27th with Laura, and my parents were there. They drove us both crazy. Contrary to what they told us originally, they do indeed have a problem with the fact that Laura and I are a couple. I would have less of a problem with this if they'd been honest with us from the beginning.

Then, there's the fact that the people whose job it is to help me are giving me fits.

If you look at the previous posts, there is a thread that i started which talks of Laura's medical status and the fact that I'm about to lose a family friend to cancer. I guess what it boils down to is that MN Mel is in meltdown mode.
