Good day, all. Certainly not much going on here. I thought I was alone in the office but it turns out that Brehznev and Little Man are just being very, very quiet. I guess none of us are all that awake yet.
Happily, it has stopped raining for a bit. Next opportunity is on Sunday. That might give me a window to get some work done on the house. I'm going to check with the boy today to see if he can maybe come up tomorrow.
Hope everyone has a great day.

I think this is going to be one of those weekends where I wish I was in 3 places at once. Starting today. I have a hair appointment at 5, so I have to leave work early just to go to that. Usually when I leave early, I don't take a lunch. But I need to stop by the bank if I want to pay the stylist in cash (in my experience, that makes stylists happy in general, which makes my hair look fabulous).
I also need to stop by the pet shop, go grocery shopping, and am supposed to see some of our friends perform tonight. I also wanted to stop by one of our other friend's houses to see what the World Cup Finals plan for tomorrow is. The rest of the weekend has a similar vibe. An ex-roomie's wife hasn't showed back up, so he's been hanging out with us.
Happy Friday all! The sun is out (still) but the temperture and hunidity is better. It looked as if we could have had a storm last night but we got nothing. As I headed to work, I was in and out of clouds, which were heavier closer to the office. As I was around the corner from the office, I had about 200 rain drops fall onto the car. But alas, nothing came of that or after that.
Now, I would like a mid morning snack please.

YAY! Friday! Still raining, but very mild for July -- 85 expected today! Still trying to shove the rain your way Fuzzy. We've had more than our share. We had almost 4 inches yesterday -- that's about what's normal for the whole month of July!
