aaaaah Chicago. One of my all-time favorite bands.
And I'm not one of those artsy fartsy folks that say "Oh, Chicago pre-Peter Cetera was awesome, they got schlocky after Cetera took over lead vocals". Nope. I loved the early stuff (bring on the horn section) and I loved em' later when they were doing the classic 80's power ballads.
But I digest.
Happy Saturday to one and all! I'm so happy to be off and starting my weekend that I'd give each and every one of you a big, wet, sloppy kiss if you were here! (No JD, don't drive over!)
Alright, carry on with whatever it is you all do when I'm not watching. I'm gonna do some surfin'!
Good day, all! It is partly cloudy, 83* and they say about 56% humidity but I think it is much more humid than that. Already mowed the yard and paid some bills today. Probably heading over to see my mom in a bit if she is home, then out to Leavenworth to see the kids (cept Chris) and the grandkids since all will be there.
Doesn't look good for getting anything done on my house this weekend. Jeremy is installing a french door at Chris and Anna's. Ah well... maybe next weekend. I still need to go get some more stuff for my place anyway... specifically more siding, trim, and 2X4's. It just never ends.
Hope everyone is having a great weekend.

That which does not kill me postpones the inevitable.
I'm in a grumpy mood. I swear, idiocy is contagious. Farmer's Market was packed, and people at the grocery store were acting more stupid than usual. Then I had to clean house. It seems like no matter how hard I clean, there's still something dirty. I got to the point where I didn't feel too guilty to give up; I think the house is presentable.
I've been fairly productive today. I sprayed around the house and in the basement for bugs. got the oil changed in the car to get it all ready for the CO trip. Cleaned the grill up real good, reconciled six bank statements and filed them and a bunch of receipts, and now grillin' some chicken for supper.
