I admittedly do like the song "Walk Tall", although I never request it.   But why is it that everytime you see him in the "coming up-requested" section, it's ALWAYS Walk Tall?   I think it's a very good song with a great meaning, but come on,  spread the Mellencamp love instead of keep requesting that one song, there's plenty others I'd rather hear.

Hey Anf,

You'll find this is a CONSTANT complaint of the forum. The only thing that changes is the song.

I think what happens is that people visit the site and see the top 20, then starting from the top they request any of the songs they like.

One month we had to endure 3 times a day of JANES GETTING SERIOUS by Jon Astley, another month it was the Muppets with MAHNA MAHNA, It's frustrating, but people get into a rut and just play the same song over and over.

Often, they're the same people complaining about the lack of variety.

We've provided 6400 songs, most of them at the request of our listeners, and it's still the same 300 songs being requested every day. Go figure.

Actually, there are no resets anymore.

The counter is now a rolling count of the last 14 days. If you watch the numbers closely you'll find they actually drop throughout the day now.

I've been printing the Top 20 list every Saturday morning, to keep track of our hot singles over the course of the year.

how can anyone hate Mahna Mahna?   of course, I just started listening about 3 weeks ago and have heard it about twice, I'm sure hearing it every other song would be frustrating, lol.
