I heard on the radio this morning that it costs $8.65 a meal to feed the troops in Iraq, but it costs $13.45 to feed the prisoners at Guatamino Bay (sp?).


That is a shame. Our government is so backwards somedays! Most days. That really frustrated me and I thought I would share it with you. I just wish when I heard stuff like that they could tell us what to do to change it.

Rush Limbaugh went through a whole litany of ways the prisoners are coddled.  He jokingly called it Club Gitmo, where you go to get away from the Stress of Jihad.


I still cant help but think of how our prisoners are bludgeoned, burned, hung in effigy.  Or kept blindfolded in a room until they are beheaded on camera.


This is a war...a different kind of war, but a war.  We hold ourselves to a higher standard, but things like Ruby's thought make me angry nonetheless.  These prisoners werent taken into custody because they didnt pay library fines.  Wake up!

They should feed the prisoners the same as the troops then.

They should feed the soliders better. Really they need to amke them fend for themselves to a point. Start some kind of farm or what not.

  MY GUESS IS  A LOT OF THE TROOPS ARE EATING MRE'S WHICH ARE MASS PRODUCED UNDER A CONTRACT SIGNED 5 YR.S AGO SO THE COST IS DOWN ,  THE PRISONERS  ARE BEING FED A "SPECIAL DIET "  OF MIDDLE EASTERN MUSLIM FOOD  WHICH IS PROB. UNDER A NEW CONTRACT SO THE COSTS WOULD BE MORE IF ITS GETTING SHIPPED IN FROM THE MID EAST ,  KEEP THE BIG PICTURE IN MIND , - IF THEY ARE WELL FED AND TAKEN CARE OF IT JUST MITE CHANGE HOW THEY VIEW US , SEND EM HOME WITH A NEW ATTITUDE TOWARDS THE WEST.  THIS " CAMPAIN" WORKED WELL IN WW-2 WITH BOTH GERMAN AND JAPANESE POWS. THE  NAZIS DIDN'T KNOW WHAT TO THINK WHEN THEY GOT LETTERS FROM THEIR SONS / HUBBYS SAYING HOW WELL THEY WERE TAKEN CARE OF AND NOT TO WORRY.  ALSO IN THE COST DEPT., ARE THEY INCLUDING WHAT IT COSTS TO HAVE A GUARD WATCH THEM EAT ?  IN OTHER WORDS -WHO DID THE MATH ? WERE THEY WEARING BLUE OR RED ?
