We got up at 5:30 and we're getting ready to take off for Colorado. We hope to be on the road by 7:00. We have to take the dog with us for the first 1.5 hours to leave her at a kennel since our local kennel is rebuilding their dog runs this weekend.
I'll be checking in now and then, but won't be around nearly as much as usual this week. We plan to come back home on Thursday.
This is one of those mornings that I was dreading coming in to work. There's too many people breathing down my neck. I hope I get some peace and quiet just to get caught up enough this morning. I'm only working a half day today.
Good day, all! I'm so very glad it is Friday. Since I had to go into the office yesterday, it is WFH Friday! (knocks on wood) It has been a quiet one so far.
I'm gearing up to (hopefully) get back to working on the house. FINALLY got my income tax return check a couple days ago... so I'm going to be renting a trailer and going to pick up the windows for the back wall of the house, some more siding, trim, and lumber. It is going to be an expensive weekend, but well worth it in the long run. Just hoping I can get the boy to come help me.

The office is like a ghost town today. All the chiefs are on vacation and it's only me, the receptionist and the draftsman -- he will leave at noon.
