Hello everyone. I got an email from Wefter, who's been unable to post, he asked though that I share his message, so here it is...
Greetings to all my very good friends at FFR!
If you’re getting this message right now, then it means your not working! Quit slacking!
This is WFTR and I just wanted to update everyone on what is going on in the world of Wefter. As you know, I have found a new job which I will be starting soon, and my current boss has asked me to stay for my final two weeks and finish one last project. It’s a biggie, which means my time must be devoted to work, and my posting must take a break. I don’t know what the IT policy will be at the new job, so I can’t say for certain when I may be able to join the family around the cyber table again. Just in case the worst should happen and I am not allowed to log-on as I would like, I wanted to be sure to send a message along to everyone, and I’ve asked our favorite penguin/physician team to please deliver it.
I can not thank all of you enough for the support and comfort that you have given me over these past months. The work landscape has been bleak, to say the least, and the crushing boredom and frustration has been felt very heavily. Finding the FFR Forum Family has been a huge blessing. I could have spent a lot of time zipping around the internet finding all manner of destructive outlets, but instead I found a place filled with lively discussion, friendly voices, and a trust that is not supposed to be possible on the internet. You’ve patiently listened to my rants, laughed at my corny jokes, and even fostered some healthy competition. (Packers STINK!)
What can I say, friends? You are a blessing, and I’ve been blessed by meeting all of you. I still tune in to the station and I don’t plan on disappearing, but I’m not certain what’s coming around the corner. Better for me too say too much now, than not enough later.
Keep on being the psych ward inmates that you are, and watch for the Prophet’s planet to appear in the threads. In true WFTR fashion, here is scripture to chew on until we speak again.
