toothbrush

Well it is 4 pm and I am now just brushing my teeth. Yes now that you are all grossed out, I have a real question. We have an Oral B electric toothbrush. This is our second. It died today. I was going to get another at Wallyworld, but thought I might ask if anyone has a Sonic Care toothbrush. The Oral B has lasted awhile, but at least two in 7 years.

So can anyone help me? Oral B vs. Soci Care. Where is JD and his poll.

I have the oral b and I like it.  My last dentist recommend the sonic.  I didn't get it because it was $20 more.  My current dentist is anti-electric toothbrushes (but take that for what you will he's also anti-computer). Where's when you need him?

Here you go Ruby...

Sonicare Elite vs. Sonicare Advance vs. Braun Oral-B 3D Excel
Both Sonicare toothbrushes were found to be safe and effective in removal of supragingival plaque (plaque above the gums). In hard to reach areas, the Sonicare Elite was found to remove significantly more plaque than the Sonicare Advance. In the interproxmial spaces (between the teeth), Sonicare Elite removed 20% more plaque than Sonicare Advance tooth brush.

Both brushes were found to be safe on soft tissue and effective in removal of supragingival plaque. Sonicare Elite was found to remove significantly more plaque than a manual toothbrush.

Sonicare Elite toothbrush was shown to reduce biofilm thickness beyond the bristles. Sonicare Elite removed significantly more dental plaque biofilm 2-3 mm beyond the bristles than the Braun Oral-B 3D.

Sonicare Elite tooth brush was found to be gentle on dentin, and 4 times gentler than Braun Oral-B 3D Excel.

good question.  I just move it around in no specific manner, but you really don't need to.

Went to get the Sonic Care at Costco , but came home with the Oral B Professional Care 9000. It was 79.99 with and automatic 20.00 rebate. It had two toothbrushes, one recharger, a carrying case and a polisher and a flosser head included. Plus I already had the five toothbrush heads from the last one.

The Sonic Care was 120. With one toothbrush and two heads. The cost of extra heads is 17.99 for two. So I would have had to but two of them.

$60 vs. 156= no contest

The professional care is awesome-- noithing like me last one! Fully endorsed by Ruby!
