I was sitting here with my son looking through some photos.

We've done this a couple times and he just loves to look at the pics we took of him in his animals. People think we were nuts to buy that many stuffed animals but really most all of them were gifts.

This was from a couple years ago. He'll be five in October so he's quite a bit bigger now.

Thanks guys.

Actually there are four penguins in there. Two bigger ones at the top that you can't see their heads and then two little ones by "the boy" (for Dylan). Sometimes we call him "Logan" too.

He loves doing that animal thing. The joy of digital cameras. He wasn't sure about it at first then I took one shot and showed him. I had to take about 20 more before we could quit. lol

That picture with the animals is a couple years old. Here's some current ones.




This was taken yesterday. We filled the pool about 11:00am and this picture was taken about 4:30pm. The water was still a little cold.



This was taken this afternoon while waiting for the parade to start.



We were in a pretty good spot for the parade. There were not very many kids right where we were and they were loading him up with candy.

It's our annual county fair and the Sunday parade is always the kick-off.

Of course there's the normal fair animal shows the next few days but tonight was the free gospel concert (we didn't go this year). Monday night is the free pit bar-b-que and bull riding. Tuesday night is the Tracy Byrd (country) concert (my wife's going with a friend). Wednesday night is motocross and mini sprint races.

We gave "the boy" the choice of the bull riding or motocross. He loves both so it was a tough choice but he decided to go with the motorcycles.

Our State Fair is held a couple miles from my house and runs through next Sunday....just a great excuse to eat some corn and watch people.
